RR RACING MY 2019

Beta Enduro RR 300

The top of the range

The RR Racing MY 2019, the race-ready version of the Enduro Beta presented in June, is now being released on the market. The Racing versions are manufactured to the same specifications that Beta Factory rider Steve Holcombe used to become 2017 Enduro GP World Champion and allowed Beta to clinch the Enduro GP Manufacturers' World Championship Title.

For 2019, there are a total of 7 different RR Racing models offered including the addition of the new RR Racing 125 RR! Other racing model sizes return as well providing racers with many choices to suit their riding style. These returning models include 250 and 300cc 2-stroke as well as 350, 390, 430, and 480cc 4-stroke.

With many features added to the standard models, the RR Racing line includes the following updates for 2019 that are unique to the model range including:

Suspension

Beta engineers have been hard at work developing the front and rear suspension settings to improve overall handling under the most extreme conditions.
  • ZF ø 48 mm closed cartridge fork with anodized slider: stiffer and more resistant to wear, while providing less friction. SKF low-friction fork seals and wipers are also installed.
  • New fork shoes (yoke): stiffer and lighter.
  • New fork guards: designed together with the shoe to combine practicality and design while providing more strength.
  • Fully redesigned ZF shock: with more compact 46 mm piston, about 300g lighter. The new piston has been designed to ensure more stable operation as the oil temperature varies, while increasing sensitivity to enhance comfort and traction. The small upper base and reservoir have also been redesigned to be farther away from the exhaust pipe while minimizing weight. The new spring is also lighter.
  • Black anodized triple clamp.

Premix

In classic racing style, the 2-stroke range has no automatic oil injector and thus requires oil-petrol pre-mix. The Beta R&D department has responded to riders' demands for ever-lighter bikes by removing this feature and minimize weight.

Special components

The range includes all those aesthetic and practical features one expects from a real Racing bike:
  • Quick-release front wheel pin: speeds up tire repairs, saving precious seconds in race situations.
  • Vertigo hand guards: modern design, tough and “In-Mold” graphics; ideal for extreme offroad riding.
  • Black Ergal footrests: light and sturdy, with a broader contact patch and steel pegs to ensure maximum, long-lasting grip under all conditions.
  • Rear sprocket with anodized aluminum core and steel teeth: an unbeatable combination of lightness and durability.
  • Red Ergal chain tensioner blocks. providing quick and precise adjustments to the chain.
  • Racing seat with document pocket.
  • Black anodized shift/brake levers.
  • Transmission oil cap, engine oil cap and oil filter cap in red anodized aluminum.
  • Racing graphics and red rim stickers.

RR Racing 125 cc 2-stroke

The RR Racing 125 cc 2-stroke is a stunning achievement: in addition to all the above it boasts a suspension system expressly calibrated for this engine displacement and a new engine configuration.
  • Same front and rear suspension as the larger Racing models.
  • New cylinder, with modified exhaust port and timing charts.
  • New exhaust flange.
  • New exhaust valve system and new boosters.
  • New clutch cover with air bleed system to give the clutch improved feel, a modified oil filler cap position.
  • New clutch basket.
  • New expansion chamber.
Improved low-rev power delivery combined with greater high-rev acceleration, resulting in better performance across the rev range and more linear, manageable power output. The outcome is a considerably broader riding range, a crucial feature on a small-displacement engine.

Beta RR RACING 2T 250/300 MY 2018

Beta Enduro RR 300

The Race-Inspired models from Beta

The 2018 RR range, presented to the public in June, has now been beefed up with a Racing version. These models are developed through the Beta Race division and are very similar to the bike that Enduro World Champion Steve Holcombe competes on. 2018 Racing models will be available in the 250 and 300 cc 2T (2-stroke) and 350, 390, 430 and 480 cc 4T (4-stroke) engine sizes. With the influence of the official Team Beta Factory Enduro riders – reigning E3 world champion Steve Holcombe and reigning Italian champion Alex Salvini – numerous upgrades have been made to reduce weight and improve handling during the array of situations that the riders encounter in their championships. In addition to the above, Racing versions benefit from the numerous technical improvements introduced on the standard bikes, improvements which have made them lighter, more streamlined and higher-performing than previous models.

Compared to the respective standard versions, the RR Racing My 2018 range stands out on account of:

Suspension

Beta engineers have been hard at work developing the front and rear suspension settings. More specifically, they've introduced:

48 mm closed-cartridge Sachs fork with new, lighter, redesigned slider. The system is filled with latest-generation low-friction oil and calibrated to match the 2018 frame to perfection. Shock absorber with revised valving and calibration that improves the overall performance of the rear suspension in working with the new design of the frame. Black anodised triple clamp to blend perfectly with the red fork tubes. New Michelin tyres.

Premix

True to the racing spirit, the 2T range has no automatic mixer. (Oil Injection) Unlike standard RR models, all of the 2T Racing Edition bikes run on premix. The Beta R&D department has listened to the riders' demands for lighter weight bikes and deciding to remove this feature to minimize weight. A separate mixing system (Oil Injection) can easily be implemented on Racing models by purchasing the relevant kit in our accessory catalog.

The Racing range also includes these items that set the bike apart from the standard versions:
  • Quick release front wheel pin: speeds up tire repairs, saving precious seconds in race situations.
  • Vertigo hand guards: modern design, tough and “In-Mold” graphics; ideal for extreme off-road riding.
  • Black Ergal footrests: light and sturdy, with a broader contact patch, steel pegs to ensure maximum, long-lasting grip under all conditions
  • Rear sprocket with anodised aluminum core and steel teeth: an unbeatable combination of lightness and durability.
  • Red Ergal chain tensioner blocks.
  • Racing seat with pocket.
  • Black anodized shift/brake levers.
  • Transmission oil cap, engine oil cap and oil filter cap in red anodized aluminum.
  • Special Racing graphics and rim decals.

Beta EVO MY 2018

Beta Trials SS 300

Ever-increasing technical refinement

The new Evo My 2018 trials range - which builds and improves on the previous versions - is about to hit the market. Beta's engineers have been hard at work on the fine details, resulting in bikes that now provide outstanding levels of technical refinement, performance and reliability.

As always, the hallmark of the Beta family is sharp-edged efficiency for both pros – from regional championships through to world championships – and less expert amateur riders.

The 2-stroke range offers four different engine sizes: 125, 250, 300 and 300 SS – where “SS” stands for Super Smooth, a trials bike with a softer engine power delivery than its more aggressive counterparts, designed for off-road lovers who just want to focus on having fun.

Evo 2T

All the 2-stroke versions – including the 300 SS – have the following new features, designed to give the bikes a more technically polished feel.

Engines boast new low-friction main bearings that reduce energy loss and thus improve low-rev performance. A look at the suspension shows that both rear shock and front fork have been calibrated to give greater progression, absorbing and dampening major impacts with even greater efficiency. Both front fork legs now use the same amount of oil to help simplify servicing.

The wheels feature hubs that have been reinforced in the disc and sprocket attachment areas to boost impact-resistant reliability and are now mounted with Dunlop tires. The design has also been overhauled, with new graphics and colors on the anodized aluminum frame and black wheels with white/red decals.
